Driven by a Dream

Tayo Osuolale, Executive Consultant

Tayo Osuolale Headshot

From his teenage years, Tayo Osuolale knew he wanted to be an entrepreneur. His drive and determination led his to complete an MBA at one of Nigeria’s top universities before becoming involved in business consulting, sales and mergers involving major corporations. Eventually, his business activities brought him to the U.S.

When he moved into his apartment in Houston, he learned about Ambit and the opportunity to become an Independent Consultant. So, 2013, he signed up as a Marketing Consultant. He says “I was impressed because the news about Ambit was shared by word-of-mouth, or “friends-telling-friends” advertising.”

Making It Work

While Tayo has always been successful, building his Ambit business didn’t always come easily. “Like every business startup, the number one challenge is to bet new people to believe in what you believe. It takes persistence and consistence to overcome and proceed within the Ambit community.”

His hard work also taught Tayo some lessons. “I wish I had shared the Opportunity with more people,” he says. “especially since I moved from a deregulated area to a regulated area.” He’s also learned a lot about customer service and is proud of the fact that many of her customers call him when their renewal date approaches for advice about whether they should choose a new plan or stick with their current one to get the best deal.

Still Dreaming Big

Tayo is proud of himself and his team, but he still has big goals. “I want to become a recognized philanthropist,” he says “and I figured Ambit is a way for me to achieve this long-term goal.” To help do this, Tayo plans to expand his business to both Japan and Canada and on cooperating with others to achieve mutual long-term goals.

With his drive and determination, it’s only a matter of time before he fulfills another childhood dream.
