Fashioning a Successful Career

Even before joining Ambit Energy, Executive Consultant Alma Garcia had already fashioned a successful career. She’d spent time working for Levi-Strauss before developing her own line of jewelry and accessories for women, a business she ran for 20 years. But while she was successful, she knew there was more she could do for her family and to prepare for her retirement.
But even though she believed in the Ambit Opportunity, she knew it wouldn’t be easy. “I live in a place where Ambit does not have a presence,” she says. “I have to travel two hours to get Customers and Consultants. Some of my team members haven’t continued with their business, and I’ve had to get new Consultants.”
Looking Good
Those who have persevered with Alma have seen shared in her success. “The way I have achieved my goals is by working hard to help others achieve theirs. People have seen how this business works and they have seen my positive results,” Alma says.
Alma believes that working with Ambit has improved her communication skills and that will help her train her team to reach the next level, as well as help her become a National Consultant.
A Shining Future
With Ambit, Alma feels secure about her future and her business. She plans to expand into new markets and to continue to work with her team. Having invested the time and effort to build a successful business in a non-Ambit market, her advice to others is simple: “Never give up when you encounter an obstacle and always stay positive.”
