Fostering a New Community

EC Laura Fernandez knows about community and helping others. “I am an advocate in my neighborhood,” she says, describing herself as a passionate volunteer with children, women, and others looking to succeed in life. That wasn’t her only role though. Before she found the Ambit Opportunity, Laura worked with state agencies helping children meet developmental milestones and foster children. “Being responsible for placing children in loving forever homes has been one of my biggest rewards in life.”
A Push Forward
After working side jobs and alongside her husband in their car wash business, she was ready to find a better way to help with the bills. They were busy but wanted to ditch the long hours. “We were tired of being tired all the time!” Then, she heard about Ambit Energy. There was one thing that made the most sense to her. “When I heard about the Ambit Opportunity, all I was really interested in was Free Energy.” That was the push she needed. She joined Ambit once she realized that she could save on what was one of the most expensive bills they had as a family.
The power of choice is what keeps Laura going in her Ambit business. “Most people really believe they have no choice because they feel stuck.” She’s made it her mission to help those people see another way, the Ambit way. She believes the best way to lead and teach others is by example. “I use the practice what you preach approach. People want to see you succeed.”
One Destination
Laura’s goal has always been the same: success. “If not this, then what?’ I would ask myself that question over and over.” That goal fuels her to teach new Consultants the same basic building blocks of the business. “I tell them that no one is going to want their success more than them.” That lesson is one she is using to bring others along her success journey.
