Success Breeds Success

Crystal Wilson, Executive Consultant

Crystal Wilson Headshot

Crystal Wilson was made for the journey to Executive Consultant. One might say she was born into a mindset of hard work, dedication, and success. As an only child to her, she was groomed from a young age to be successful. In fact, she comes from a long line of success that spawns from an uncle who is a one-star general in the Army and a cousin who owns an investment firm. Being related to successful people doesn’t breed success; you have to want it, and Crystal has had that fire inside of her a long time. She graduated from business school with a 3.9 GPA and a perfect attendance record. Her success has reached beyond the classroom and into the extracurricular sphere with a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as well as additional martial arts training.

Opportunities Arise When Least Expected
Life is full of ups and downs, but sometimes the downs can turn out to be opportunities. Crystal’s life was thrown into disarray by an unexpected development. “My roommate at the time took off on the lease, and my childhood friend called me to wish me a happy birthday. I was telling her how scared I was that I wasn’t going to be able to pay the rent.” That’s the moment things changed for Crystal. As good friends will do, Crystal’s pal sprang into action. “Oh, I have your back. What are you doing Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.?” Her friend, who happened to be a consultant, showed Crystal the Opportunity. “I thought to myself, ‘Well, they can stop now because I’m all in!’” From then on, Crystal was full-steam ahead and ready to take on this newest challenge. She started in 2018, realized her team wasn’t the best fit for her goals, waited another six months – which turned out to be the hardest part – then finally arrived on her current team in September. “I had to realize that not having an active upline didn’t dictate my success or my failure in the business.”

Hard Work Pays Off
It’s no secret that hard work can open the door to all sorts of great things that can happen. It’s never rung truer than for Crystal. “I have never been in the top 1% of anything. I have always known I have a strong character.” Ambit has opened doors for Crystal that she never thought possible, and the success has been a blessing. “It was cool to see my mom’s face when her checks started rolling in. My cousin, Ricky, was able to start a racing fund. We all grow together, it seems. Most of my family have kids so it’s very cool to see them be a little bit more comfortable in their lives.” However, this latest bout of success is just the start for Crystal. She isn’t going to rest on her laurels; she’s determined to build on her triumphs, “One of my goals is to become a National Consultant by 2023. I also want to help as many people as I can along the way, both inside and outside the business.” Crystal is just another in a long line of success stories for her family and our consultants, and she continues to make each day a success.
