How did you hear about the Ambit Opportunity & what impressed you most?
A friend was a Consultant with Ambit Energy and I originally just wanted to save money on my electricity bill. When I received my money back the first week and had an even bigger check the second week, I realized there was much more to this opportunity that I ever thought.
What is your “WHY” that keeps you focused and motivated the most?
When I first started with Ambit, I had lost my administrator’s position in a school district here in Texas. For the first time in my 30 years in education with a master€™s degree and two bachelor’s degrees, I had no contract with a school district. My “Why” was originally to earn money to pay bills. My “Why” has since changed because of the Ambit Opportunity. Not only do I not worry about paying bills, but I’ve been able to pay off every bill that I ever had and am now looking forward to traveling and helping others all over the country because of Ambit. I’ve been able to go on so many more mission trips teaching teachers all over the world because of Ambit.
What do you see for yourself in your future, personally and professionally?
I see myself being able to travel and spread the good news of Ambit to all the areas we are in. Helping others globally rather than right here in Texas. I see me being able to set my kids up for financial success, and I also see a six and seven-figure income in my immediate future. I love to help others, and being able to travel where ever and whenever I want is such a plus for me.
What was your single most-effective Success Tool, factor or influence for growing your business?
I believe in the power of influence and success. You see, I can’t tell people about how to be successful in this business unless I’m successful with it. I love the one-on-one meetings. I think that through these, the potential Consultant can tell truth, integrity and trust we provide face-to-face. This has been the biggest tool for me to promote very quickly and help as many people as I can.
What advice do you have for new Consultants?
New Consultants always ask me what my secret is for working the business and promoting so quickly. I always tell them that there is no secret. If there is a secret, it’s in the numbers that you speak with. The more people you speak with, the more successful your business is. We can’t be secret agents with Ambit. After all, if it’s good enough for us to be doing this business, it’s good enough for anyone to show the business to. Tell everyone you come into contact with everyday and you will be successful. Don’t pick and choose who you want to show this business to. Tell everyone. You can’t tell the wrong thing to the right person at the right time. I will always remember what Steve Thompson told me in the beginning of my Ambit journey. In the first month, I messaged him for help. I told him my daily activities and he messaged me back “You’re going to be huge in this business”. I have kept that message on my mirror in my bathroom and see it each and everyday. While I do not think others can motivate you in this business, it’s great to know that we have others in our upline that believe in us. The rest is up to us. When we feel bad, we must do this business. We we are having a great day, we must do this business. When it’s raining, we must do this business. When we are so busy, we still must do this business. We must have an internal clock that sets us apart from the rest. This internal clock says “I’ve got to do this to make a change in my life.” Life is too short to be miserable and broke. I thank God that He brought this opportunity to me at just the right time in my life.
