How did you hear about the Ambit Opportunity & what impressed you most?
One of my employees, James Penny introduced to the opportunity in the Fall of 2013. I was very impressed by the growth of Ambit in such a short period of time and the amount of commissions paid out to the consultants.
What is your “WHY” that keeps you focused and motivated the most?
My “Why” is creating an additional stream of income that can cover ALL of my monthly expenses including two children going to college…
What do you see for yourself in your future, personally and professionally?
Personally, I look forward to my wife and I having our twenty year anniversary (02/08/16), both of my kids graduating from college, becoming totally debt free again, and having more time to dedicate at One Community Church in Plano. Professionally, I am excited about continuing to lead the consultants on my team and develop others to do the same. My goal is to promote to Executive Consultant by 03/31/2015, and then ultimately National Consultant from there!
What was your single most-effective Success Tool, factor or influence for growing your business?
Presenting constantly then following up with a very detailed list of touches afterwards. I have an Excel spreadsheet that has about thirty different touch points on it. I have also found the training classes to energize me and give me additional ideas for either getting in front of people to present to or other ways to follow up with past presentations to potential consultants.
What advice do you have for new Consultants?
Know 5 -2 -6 and promote to RC as quickly as possible. Do as much training as possible, get on as many calls as you can each week, know your personal websites or get a URL that forwards to them, get to know your up line (not just your sponsor), and present every day then do a three way call afterwards with someone up line. Help as many people as you can. Like Zig used to say, “You can have everything in life you want, if you will just help other people get what they want.”
