How did you hear about the Ambit Opportunity & what impressed you most?

My Dad (an airline pilot) shared the Opportunity with me after returning home from a Brazil trip. His co-pilot shared the business with him and, since I always looked up to my Dad, I knew it was something I should look at. All he kept telling me was, “Sara it’s gas and electricity- everybody already uses it.” At his request, and despite a very busy work schedule, I attended a business presentation to hear from NC Chris Atkinson and meet his pilot friend SC (at the time) Dundy Aipoalani. I never heard of residual income before seeing the Opportunity and I started my business right after the meeting. I felt so much hope for my future and I wanted to free myself so I would at least have a choice if I’d rather stay at home when I had a family. At the time I was 26 and only dating my future husband. Little did I know he’d propose the following month. I am so thankful I got started right away.

What is your “WHY” that keeps you focused and motivated the most?

My initial “Why” was to have the option to stay at home with my future family without sacrificing money. Time freedom to enjoy the important moments in life and not report to anyone but myself. Every morning when I look over the crib and see my 5-month old daughter smile back, I am so thankful because if it wasn’t for Ambit I would have already been sitting in traffic on my way to work. My current “Why” is to furnish our brand new house, and really focus on becoming totally financially free with everything. (Pay off car, house, etc.)

What do you see for yourself in your future, personally and professionally?

The Ambit journey has surprised me. I initially thought I was joining an energy company and that every day would be focused on technicalities of gas and electricity with customers. I couldn’t have been more wrong. Ambit is personal development with a serious compensation plan attached to it. We are “People Helping People” and keeping it simple just following the system that’s already proven. I love going on this journey with others and seeing how they embrace it. It really is becoming something I am very passionate about. Everyone has their own unique story and motives for doing this business. I think if I stay coach-able, listen to our great leadership and participate the sky is the limit and the rest will take care of itself.

What was your single most-effective Success Tool, factor or influence for growing your business?

I use the tools and don’t over complicate the process. The Success from Home magazine and Atkinson DVD are what I use most often. I stayed in touch with leadership, listened to every conference I could and attended local business presentations whenever I could. My “Why” was important so I had to come to the realization that I had to stay consistent and be disciplined with the little time I had.

What advice do you have for new Consultants?

Keep it simple, have fun and don’t be afraid to reach out to leadership!
